WILLIAM H. STALLINGS, JR.
LOUISBURG - William Hilliard Stallings, Jr., 81, of Louisburg died Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Wake Medical Center.  He owned and operated Stallings Milling Company for 50 years and operated Stallings Trucking Company.  He was a member of Cedar Rock First Baptist Church.  He was preceded in death by his daughter, Phyllis Gay McCool, and his sister, Ann Stallings Johnson.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Cedar Rock First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robert Ricks Boone officiating.  Burial will follow in Trinity United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mildred Stallings; his son, George W. Stallings and wife, Rebecca of Louisburg; three stepdaughters, Teresa Klatt of Winston-Salem, Kristine Berger and husband, Joe of Sedona, AR, Karen Klatt and Kari Miller of Piedmont, CA; one brother, John Gilbert Stallings, Bayce, VA; one sister, Betty Clark and husband, George of Conway, NC; one grandson, Kevin Bruce Stallings and wife, Lanette of Nashville. 

The family received friends Friday night from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Cedar Rock First Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to White Level Rescue, 2465 White Level Road, Louisburg, NC  27549.
