DEBORAH K. BABB
LOUISBURG - Deborah Kay Babb, 61, died Sunday March 6, 2011, at Franklin Regional Medical Center. Graveside services were held Tuesday, March 8, at Elmwood Cemetery with Dr. William Wakefield officiating.

Born in Halifax County, she was the daughter of the late Walter Wallace Babb and Margaret Strange Babb. She was a retired secretary with the Vance County Parole and Probation Office, and was formerly employed at Rose’s Department Store for over 25 years.

Surviving: fiancée, Mikey Edwards, of the home; one sister, Jennifer B. Everett of Goldsboro; two brothers, Charles Babb of Newport News, Va., and Danny Babb of Petersburg, Va.

 In addition to her parents,  she was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Wallace Babb, II.

Flowers accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Three Day For The Cure Team, c/o Stefanie Wineland, 205 Schultz Street, Chapel Hill, NC, 27514.
