VIRGINIA B. RICHARDS
DURHAM - Mrs. Virginia Bell Richards, 80, died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today (Saturday, Nov. 25) at Gorman Baptist Church, with the Rev. Adam Hatley, the Rev. Julian Motley and Luke Richards officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Richards was a native of Franklin County and had lived in Durham most of her life. She was the daughter of the late George Bourbon Bell and Valerie Baker Bell. Mrs. Richards retired from American Tobacco Company and was a member of Gorman Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Malcus Richards, and a brother, G. B. Bell Jr.

Surviving: sons, Phillip Richards (Joan) of Durham, Malcus Richards (Joyce) of Salisbury, and Danny Richards of Raleigh; brother, Coy Bell of Bunn; seven grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

Flowers acceptable or donations can be made to Gorman Baptist Church, Building Fund, 3315 E. Geer St., Durham, NC 27704.
