JANE P. SENTER
FRANKLINTON - Jane Pruitt Senter, 81, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006 in a Louisburg nursing facility. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 6) at Union View Baptist Church, with the Rev. T. J. Kollar officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery.

Born in Surry County, she was the daughter of Ernest Pruitt and Hattie Johnson Pruitt. She was a retired employee of Louisburg Sportswear. Mrs. Senter was the widow of Edgar David Senter Sr.

Surviving: daughters, Peggy S. Castle of Raleigh and Patricia S. (Roy) Williams of Rolesville; sons, Edgar David Senter Jr. and Douglas Wayne Senter, both of Franklinton; a sister, Magdeline Garrison of Pineville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Flowers accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Union View Baptist Church.
