MARTHA “POSSUM” GREGORY
HENDERSON —Funeral services for Martha “Possum” Gregory, 86, who died Thursday, March 8, 2012, will be held on Thursday, March 15, at 1 p.m. at Mitchell Baptist Church, with the Rev. Daniel Lillie officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Geraldine Robertson-Gregory, Joann Charles, Regina Gregory and Michelle Gregory, all of Washington, D.C., Carolyn Gregory of Silver Spring, Md., and Brenda Rose Gregory of Henderson; sons, Loyal Gregory of Baltimore, Md., Dean Gregory of Laurel, Md., Martin Gregory of Washington, D.C., and Sherman Gregory of Charlotte; sisters, Elizabeth Williams of Henderson, Stella Carrol and Rosa Williams, both of Norlina, Corrine Mitchell of Oxon Hill, Md.; brothers, George Solomon, James Solomon and Charlie Solomon, all of Henderson; 19 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.
