CARL J. WYNNE
LOUISBURG - Carl Johnson Wynne, 79, died Monday, May 14, 2012, at Franklin Regional Medical Center.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 16, at 2 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service and at all other times at the home.

He owned and operated Wynne and Sons Logging for 40 years.  The son of the late Charlie Robert and Lillian Fuller Wynne, he was also preceded in death by his grandson, Jared K. Wynne; three brothers, Charlie Robert Wynne Jr., Norwood Wynne and George Wynne; and his sister, Margaret W. Johnson.

Surviving: wife of 61 years, Doris A. Wynne; his children, Danny Ray Wynne of the home, Sheila W. Lewis (Mike) of Chesapeake, Va., Timothy Johnson Wynne (Rachelle), Kathryn W. Coates (Tony) of Cary, Michael Landon Wynne (Cindy) of Louisburg, Lisa W. Edwards (Harold) of Louisburg, Craig Wynne (fianceé, Lisa) of Louisburg; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his brother, Julian Wynne of Burlington; and his sister, Jewel Seagroves of Henderson.
