GARLAND “BIG G” WITHERSPOON
FRANKLINTON - Funeral services for Garland “Big G” Witherspoon, 67, who died on Monday, Aug. 13, 2012 will be Sunday, Aug. 19 at 1 p.m. at Westminister Evangelistic Church #2 with Bishop Benjamin J. Ravenell of Harrisburg, Pa. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving: daughters, Marjorie Witherspoon of the home, Fleeter Thompson of Atlantic City, N.J., Jacinda Witherspoon of Pleasantville, N.J., India Witherspoon of Mays Landing, N.J., Christine Lynch, Lisa Morris, and Lori Forshey, all  of Altoona Pa., Deneen Snipler of Dover, Del.; sons, Donald Witherspoon, Garland Witherspoon Jr., both of Atlantic City, N.J., Aaron Scott Corry of Dover, Del., Edward Morris Jr. of Franklinton, Albert Morris of Altoona Pa.; sisters, Thelma Waller of Durham, Shirley Johnson of Mooresville; brothers, Bishop Louis Witherspoon of Franklinton, Bishop Luke Witherspoon of Atlantic City, N.J., Nathaniel Witherspoon of Franklin; 35 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren.

Open visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 19, at Westminister Evangelistic Church #2  prior to the service.
