LOUISE W. PREVATT
WILMINGTON —Louise Wilder Prevatt, 97, died at her home Monday night, Oct. 15, 2012. A celebration of her life will be held at Temple Baptist Church on Saturday, Oct. 20, at 11 a.m.

She was born in Franklin County to Ben F. and Addie M. Wilder. She  graduated from high school in Franklinton in 1932 and earned a teaching certificate from East Carolina College.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Foster Freeman Prevatt; her daughter, Mary Prevatt Tepper; two grandsons; and a sister, Ruth Parton.

Surviving: Foster F. Prevatt (Margie), Nancy Prevatt Madison, Bob Prevatt (Lynn); nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to Temple Baptist Church or to the Charity of your Choice.
