BENJAMIN H. COOKE
BRACEY, Va. - Benjamin Herbert Cooke, 78, formerly of Franklin County, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007 in Community Memorial Health Center. A funeral service was conducted Monday, Jan. 15, at Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home and Crematory in South Hill, Va., with interment in Shiloh United Methodist Church cemetery in South Hill.

Mr. Cooke was a former funeral director with Bright Funeral Home in Wake Forest. He was a retired FBI special agent and a Korean Army veteran. He was predeceased by two wives, Joan Brown Cooke and Forrest M. Cooke.

Surviving: son, David W. Cooke (Ellen) of South Hill, Va.; daughter, Sarah Ann Imler (Tom) of Clayton; and four grandchildren.
