EDNA E. PEARCE
WAKE FOREST - Edna Earle Pearce, 74, died Monday, April 24, 2006 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 27, at Beulah Christian Baptist Church.

Burial will follow in the Rolesville Baptist Church cemetery.

Born in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late Repsie Rogers Pearce and James Hilary “Possum” Pearce. She was a retired corrections officer with the NC Department of Correction.

Surviving: husband, Leroy Pearce; daughter, Linda Rogers Jones (Mike) of Rolesville; son, Julian Earl “Skipper” Rogers of Zebulon; brothers, John R. Pearce of Raleigh, James Vernon Pearce, Roy Rogers Pearce, Hilary Pearce, and Thomas Pearce, all of Zebulon, and Jimmy Charles Pearce of Wake Forest; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert L. Rogers and Michael L. Pearce; sisters, Iris P. Mason and Betty Sue Pearce; and brothers, James Hilary Pearce Jr., Maynard Pearce, and Dwight Pearce.

Friends may visit with the family from 7-8:30 tonight (Wednesday) at Bright Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Wake Forest.
