ELDRED J. JOYNER

JACKSONVILLE, FL - Eldred J. Joyner, 82, passed away March 29, 2007 in Jacksonville, FL. He was born in Louisburg, North Carolina to Oscar and Violet Joyner. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during WWII and had a long career until his retirement in Jacksonville, FL.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Joyner; daughters, Christy L. White and husband, Larry, and Kerry L. Trombly and husband, Tom; son, Eldred Scott, Joyner, all of New Hampshire; three grandchildren, Andrew, Ryan and Liam, also from New Hampshire; and many other loving family members and friends from Louisburg and Franklin County, North Carolina. He was predeceased by his five sisters, Virginia Mitchiner, Margaret Holt, Florence Wells, Kate Cooke and Louise Hauss; and three brothers, Bennett, Wilson and Raymond Joyner.

Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 6, in Oakwood Cemetery, Louisburg, NC, with the Reverend Kenny Davis officiating.

Services under the care and direction of Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg, NC.
