BOBBY JOE ALLMON
WENDELL - Bobby Joe Allmon, 57, died Friday, April 21, 2006 at home. Visitation was held Monday, April 24, at Strickland Funeral Home, Wendell, and a Celebration of Life Service followed at 7 p.m. Private inurnment was at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

He was born in Stanley County to the late Leroy and Jennie Bost Allmon. Before becoming disabled, he worked 16 years for ARS, formerly Metro Heating and Air.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers A. L. Allmon Jr. and Jerry K. Allmon.

Surviving: his wife, Peggy O’Neal Allmon; daughter, Dena Brannan (Jay) of Wendell; sister, Jennie A. Jeans of Youngsville; brothers, Jay “Shorty” Allmon (Patsy) of Zebulon, and Kenny Allmon of Pilot; and one granddaughter.
