YOUNGSVILLE - Josephine Holden Wiggins, 90, died Friday evening, April 27, 2007 at Hillside Nursing Center. Funeral services were conducted Monday, April 30, at Oak Level Christian Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
She was born in Franklin County, the daughter of the late Mary Julia Pearce Holden and Will R. Holden. She was married to Marshall Oliver Wiggins, who preceded her in death.
Surviving: sons, Winston “Twig” Wiggins (Sarah) of Wake Forest and Russell Wiggins (Ardythe) of Dunn; sisters, Maebelle H. Buckner of Raleigh and Clara H. Catlett of Jacksonville, Fla., formerly of Dunn; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas W. Holden.
