JOYCE M. PREDDY

LOUISBURG – Joyce May Preddy, 70, of Louisburg, died Thursday morning.

Joyce was the daughter of the late Johnnie Henderson and Myrtle Maude Terrell May and was preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Preddy, Sr.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with the Rev. Earl Dulaney officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Annette Holton Pleasants of Oxford; sons and daughter in-law, Gil and Debbie Holton; Johnny Holton, all of Louisburg; grandchildren, Brittany and Bethany Holton, J.B. Pleasants, IV; former husband and dear friend, Dean Holton of Louisburg.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Louisburg U.M.C., P.O. Box 667, Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family received friends 7 -8:30 p.m. Friday at Strickland Funeral Home, 103 W. Franklin St., Louisburg, and other times at the home of Gil and Debbie Holton, 412 W. Noble St., Louisburg.
