CECIL T. STAINBACK

HENDERSON - Cecil Talmadge Stainback, 68, died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007 at his home. A graveside service was conducted Thursday, Aug. 23, at New Sandy Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Brent Farrar.

Born in Vance County, he was the son of the late Willie Lee Stainback and Lottie Mae West Stainback. He was retired from Lauren’s Glass Plant where he worked for 32 years, and was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Louisburg.

Surviving: his wife, Vivian J. Stainback; son, Cecil Talmadge Stainback Jr. (Joann) of Henderson; one daughter, Janet S. Newton (Bob) of Creedmoor; stepdaughters, Deborah Joyner of Wake Forest and Marsha Hocutt of Charlotte; sisters, Carolyn Smith and Debbie Matthews, both of Henderson; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Flowers accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Corinth Baptist Church, 4582 Hwy. 401 N, Louisburg, NC 27549.
