September 19, 1952— August 1, 2008
LOUISBURG – Michael Henry Pearce, 55, of Louisburg, died Friday morning surrounded by his loving family.

Mike was a son of Urban Lynn and Jane Pearce and was a native of Franklin County and an Army veteran.

Funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home with the Rev. Don McGinnis and the Rev. Allen Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Lancaster Memorial Park.

In addition to his parents, Mike is survived by his sister, Lisa P. Daley; brothers and sister-in-law, Jeffrey and Cindy Pearce, and Brantley Pearce, all of Louisburg; niece, Amy Wood; nephew, Joshua Daley; great-nieces, Mc-Kayla and Madeline Wood; step-nephew, Brandon Allen and wife Melanie; step-great-nieces, Alexus and Scarlet Allen.

The family will receive friends 7 – 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg, and other times at the home.
