HOWARD O. WILDER
RALEIGH - Howard Owen Wilder, 92, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 at Rex Hospital after months of declining health. Funeral services were Sunday, Nov. 30, at Hillcrest Baptist Church in Raleigh. Burial followed at Montlawn Memorial Park, Raleigh.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Martha Southall Wilder; sisters, Anna W. House, Ruth W. Cameron, Lizzie W. Curry; brothers, Robert, Julian, Fred, William, Henry, Reuben, Bruce and Clarence Wilder, plus two infants.

Surviving: daughter, Ann Pearce (Bill) of Franklinton; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and a host of special nieces and nephews.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the memory of Howard Owen Wilder, c/o Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3800 Hillcrest Drive, Raleigh, NC 27610.
