FRANKLINTON- Janie Parrish Wright, 85, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at Louisburg Nursing Center. She was born in Granville County, the daughter of the late Frank Parrish & Sammie Elizabeth Tillerson and was a member of Mt.Olivet Baptist Church. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Willard Wright.
Funeral services will be 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon, January 4, 2009 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home, with the Rev. Carl Hunter officiating.
Burial will follow in the Mt Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Wright is survived by her daughter, Lisa Jane Wright & spouse, Terry McLamb of Franklinton; son, Thomas J. “Jerry” Wright of Franklinton; grandchildren, Thomas Joey Wilkerson and Katrina Marie Wilkerson; and great-grandson, Thomas Jayden Wilkerson.
