LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Janice Marie Brown, 62, who died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, will be held Saturday, Jan. 27, at 2 p.m. at Gospel Unlimited Church of Christ Disciples in Castalia, with Bishop Johnny Alston officiating. Burial will follow in the Gospel Unlimited Church cemetery.

LOUISBURG--Kenneth Ancil King, II, 67, of Louisburg, N.C., passed peacefully into the loving arms of the Lord early on Monday morning, January 22, 2018, after a 12-year battle with prostate cancer. He was surrounded by family in the comfort of his home at the time of his passing. Ken was a faithful and devoted servant of God, a loving husband, caring father, and friend to all.
