NASHVILLE--Funeral services for Bernice Jones Ghist, 88, who died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, will be held Friday, Feb. 16, at 12 p.m. at Castalia Missionary Baptist Church in Castalia. Burial will follow in the Jones cemetery.

YOUNGSVILLE--Brenda Pergerson Perry, age 66, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Rex Hospital. She was born August 1, 1951, in Franklin County to Jasper and Ida (Faulkner) Pergerson. She loved spending time with her family, particularly her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as fishing, camping, and going to the beach. Brenda will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma and will be greatly missed by family and friends.

FRANKLINTON--Denise "Dee" Priebe Reading, 68, of Franklinton, formerly of Burlington, Iowa, departed this earthly life on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at her home. She was born on August 13, 1949 to the late Otis and Evelyn Creech Priebe. Dee was a woman who loved reading her Bible, loved her family, spending time on the farm with her parents, fishing and spending time at her beach house, Wildwood Flower at Emerald Isle.

LOUISBURG--Funeral services for George Allen, 93, who died Monday, Feb. 12, 2018, will be held Friday, Feb. 16, at 2 p.m. at Allen Chapel Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. Stanley Dunston officiating. Burial will follow in the Allen Chapel Church cemetery.

LOUISBURG--Funeral services for Sarah Louise Patron Jackson, 93, who died Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, will be held Saturday, Feb. 17, at 11 a.m. at South Main Street Baptist Church in Louisburg, with the Rev. David Rosby officiating. Burial will follow in the Cemetery on the Hill.
