Leland Caudill Kennedy

WAKE FOREST, NC -- Leland Caudill Kennedy died May 10, 2025.

Born on September 5, 1928, in Franklin County, NC, Lee was predeceased by his first wife Catherine Harvey in 1990, his parents Glenn and Beulah Kennedy, sister Minda K. Fuller and brother Clinton Kennedy.

He is survived by his wife Patsy Leonard Kennedy, brother Graham C. Kennedy (Alice), son, Glenn J. Kennedy (Joy), daughters, Dianne K. Boylston (Brooks) and Maureen K. Cox (Ed), Paula D. Russell (Bill) and Melanie Davis, nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 7, at 1 p.m. at Louisburg Baptist Church, 302 N. Main St., Louisburg, NC and will be officiated by Rev. David Averette. The family will receive friends and visitors immediately following the service in the fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to be given in Lee's memory to the Clint Kennedy Fund or Louisburg Baptist Church Neighbor's Fund. Both can be directed to Louisburg Baptist Church, 302 N. Main St., Louisburg, NC 27549.
