FRANCES “CAT” D. BAKER
September 27, 1921 – May 27, 2009
LOUISBURG – Frances “Cat” Denton Baker, 87, of Louisburg, died Wednesday morning.

Mrs. Baker was a daughter of the late Arthur and Susan Pearce Denton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olive Baker; daughter, Joyce B. Faulkner; and her son, Jerry Baker; and several sisters and brothers. She was a member of New Hope Christian Church.

Funeral service was 11 a.m. Friday at New Hope Christian Church with the Rev. Steve Barham officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Baker is survived by her grandchildren, Curtis Faulkner and Pamela Baker.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to New Hope Christian Church, Cemetery Fund, 2793 NC 98 Hwy. W., Louisburg, NC 27549.

The family received friends 7 – 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg.
