BEATRICE BARHAM HILL
LOUISBURG – Beatrice B. Hill died September 24, 2009 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh. Born in Franklin County, NC July 24, 1915, she was the daughter of the late Charles B. Barham, Sr., and Virginia Denton.

The funeral will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 26, 2009, at Harris Chapel Baptist Church, Youngsville, NC, with Rev. Bill Haley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Surviving are son, William M. Hill, Jr. and wife, Frances of the home; daughter, Beverly H. Williams and husband, Kermit of Cary, NC; five grandchildren: Ken Hunter Williams (Lisa), Maurice Hill (Angie), Greg Williams (Karen), Kimberly W. Steffey, and Elizabeth H. Wilbourne (Doug), and six great-grandchildren: Hannah Williams, Seth Williams, Evan Wilbourne, Zachary Steffey, Amanda Williams, and Annie Wilbourne; numerous loving nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William M. Hill, Sr., her parents; three brothers: Ruffus, Joe and Charlie Barham, and two sisters: Zuda B. Shearon and Eliza B. Satterwhite.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 P.M., Friday, September 25, 2009 at Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg, NC, and at all other times at the home.

Flowers are welcome or contributions may be made to Harris Chapel Baptist Church, Memorial Garden Fund, 2960 Tarboro Rd., Youngsville, NC 27596.
