WILHELMINA CLARK DEMENT
November 10, 1927 – May 9, 2010
CENTERVILLE – Wilhelmina Clark Dement, 82, of 1996 Laurel Mill Road, died Sunday morning.

Mrs. Dement was preceded in death by her parents, Henry P. and Hattie Mae Clark; her brothers, Woodrow Hampton Clark, Belton Ellis Clark, and Tilghman Ellerbe Clark; and her sister, Lillie Christine Clark Meares.

Mrs. Dement was a member of Centerville Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for many years and as a Deacon.

Mrs. Dement is survived by her husband of 49 years, Joe Perry Dement; her son and daughter- in-law, Milton and Brenda Alford of Wake Forest; son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Patricia Dement of Centerville; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Ernest Dickerson of Louisburg; and daughter Laurie Jo Ayscue of Louisburg; grandson, Joey Dement; grandson and his wife, Robert and Amy Alford; grandson and his wife, Vaughn and Bev Brubaker; granddaughters, Meghan Ayscue and Amanda Dickerson; grandson, Dusty Ayscue; and great-grandchildren, Kristin Dement, William Alford, Clark Alford, and Jathyn Dickerson.

The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Centerville Baptist Church with the Reverend Keith Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family received friends on Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Strickland Funeral Home, Louisburg.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Centerville Baptist Church Building Fund, 2370 Leonard Road, Louisburg, NC 27549.
