JAMES HECKER
LOUISBURG—James Hecker, 77, died Sunday Nov. 21, 2010 at his residence. A memorial service honoring his life will be held 1 p.m. today (Wednesday, Dec. 1) in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home.

He was born in Charleston, S.C., son of the late Esther and William Hecker, and was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Clifton Hecker.

He was a retired security guard with Gregg’s Security Company.

Surviving: daughter, Barbara Goad (Terry) of Wake Forest; sons, James Norris Hecker of Raleigh, Ricky Lane Hecker and David Wayne Hecker, both of Wake Forest; sisters, Esther Thacker of Kentucky and Alice of Florida; brother, William “Bill” Hecker of Reno, Nev.; and two grandchildren.

Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 South Main St. Wake Forest.
