ANGIER - Cecil Marshall, 56, died Jan. 12, 2011 at home after a long battle with cancer. He was surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Carmen Marshall and Leactor Marshall; brothers, Ellwood and Durwood Marshall.
Surviving: wife, Cathy Wilson Marshall; sons, William “Will” Marshall and fiance Barbara Ketcham of Angier, Casey Marshall (Allison) of Buies Creek; daughter, Carmen Marshall (Dale Johnson) of Angier; granddaughter, Zoey Marshall of Buies Creek; sisters, Lassie Smith (Tommy) of Garner, Winifred Faison (Lindsey) of Knightdale; brothers, Elton Marshall (Claudette) of Louisburg, Harvey Lee Marshall (Amanda) of Angier.
Donations to the William Cecil Marshall fund will be appreciated and may be made to 8019 NC Hwy 210 N. Angier, NC 27501.
A memorial service and celebration of Cecil’s life was observed on Jan. 20 at C3 Church in Clayton.
