DAISY B. ROWE
April 24, 1926- July 11, 2011
LOUISBURG - Daisy Brantley Rowe, 85, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 11, 2011.
Mrs. Rowe was one of four children. She was born to Henry Neil and Beulah Pauline Brantley on April 24, 1926, in Elm City, N.C. She was born again on April 12, 1952. She was married to W.E. Rowe on October 2, 1944. They were married for 66 years. Today she joined him in heaven and they are rejoicing in the presence of Jesus together. She surrendered her life to God’s call along with W.E. and together they served the Lord in Guatemala for the next 34 years. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Frances Matthews, and brother, Neil Brantley.

Mrs. Rowe is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Dick Waters; grandchildren, Paulette Turlington and husband Rick; Tommy Waters and wife Jennie; precious great-grandchildren, Amber and Hannah Snyder; Rachel, Sarah and Elijah Waters; brother, Harold Colston and wife Nancy; and sister-in-law, Linda Rowe.

A memorial service will be held at Hickory Rock Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

The family would like to thank Community Home Care & Hospice for all their love and care and support and also the congregation of Hickory Rock Baptist Church for the loving support and many deeds of kindness.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Hickory Rock Baptist Church, 1580 Fire Tower Road, Louisburg, N.C. 27549.

Arrangements are by Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, Louisburg.
