NELSON L. BROWN
WENDELL - Nelson Lee Brown, 74, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2011. Graveside services were held Monday  at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens, Zebulon.

A native of Nash County, he was son to Fernie and Zillie Skinner Brown.

He was preceded in death by daughters Deborah Braswell and Trina Brown; brothers, Charles, Earl, Lloyd and Ralph Brown; sister, Ruth Capps; and a grandson.

Surviving: wife, Fay Sumner Parrish Brown; children, David L. Brown of Henderson, Dale Brown (Paula) of Henderson, Donald Brown (Jenny) of  Clayton and Tammy Norris (Jeff) of Bailey; siblings, Fred Brown (Susan) of Four Oaks, Edward Brown of Rocky Mount, and Ray Brown (Ardelia) of Pilot, Dee Brown of Pilot, Margie Erickson of Zebulon, Janice Belanger (Buddy) of Zebulon, Mary Lawrence (Bill) of Indiana, and Shirley Corn of Raleigh; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Flowers or memorials to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, N.Y. 10016 are welcomed.
