MARY M. WEAVER
FRANKLINTON — Mary Montgomery Weaver, 80, a resident of 224 W. Mason Street, Franklinton, died Wednesday Feb. 29, 2012, at Maria Parham Medical Center.   Born in Vance County, she was the daughter of the late Mertie Walters Montgomery and John Swanson Montgomery.  She was a homemaker and member of Friendly Baptist Church in Bethlehem, NC.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 4, at 2 p.m. at Harriett  Baptist Church in Henderson, with the Rev. Will Breedlove and the Rev. Jake Roberson officiating.  Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Franklinton. 

Surviving: sons, William “Butch” Weaver of Kittrell and James H. Weaver, Jr. of Taylorsville; daughters, Dottie Huff of Youngsville and Rebecca Mash of Taylorsville; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirley Parrish and Anna Belle Yarbrough, both of Henderson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. James Henry “Jimmy” Weaver, Sr.; and two sisters, Erma Inscoe and Rowena Collier.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at J.M. White Funeral Home. At other times they will be at the home in Franklinton.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Harriett Baptist Church, c/o Marlene Hayes, 1819 Lynne Avenue, Henderson, NC 27536.

Arrangements are by J.M. White Funeral Home of Henderson.
