GLORENE T. STRICKLAND
YOUNGSVILLE - Glorene Tabor Strickland, 74,  died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m.  Wednesday, Sept. 12, in the chapel of Bright Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Harris Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.

She was born in Bluefield, W. Va., the daughter of the late Lula Mae and Roy Tabor.

Surviving: husband, Charles E. Strickland; sons, Al Strickland (Penny) of Youngsville and Dale Strickland (Gwyn) of Greensboro; sister, Margaret Scott of Raleigh; brothers, Joe Tabor (Alma Lee) of Youngsville, Jesse Tabor (Margaret) of Yanceyville and Vernon Tabor of Youngsville; and four grandchildren.

Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Harris Chapel Baptist Church, 2960 Tarboro Road, Youngsville, NC 27596 or to South Main Baptist Chapel, c/o Pastor Gary Vassar, 104 Lakeside Drive, Louisburg, NC 27549.

Friends may visit with the family from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest.
