KIMBERLY B. SMITH
November 21, 1958 – November 13, 2012
RALEIGH – Kimberly Burnette Smith, 53, of Raleigh, died Tuesday afternoon. 

Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Allen and Jessie Burnette.

A memorial service was held 12 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. The family received friends immediately following the service.

Kim is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Christy and Randy Lanham of Louisburg; son, Jamey Smith of Greensboro; grandson, Christopher Lanham of Louisburg; fiancé, James Tilley; his son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Marilyn Tilley, and their daughter, Madilyn, all of Raleigh; her aunt, who she considered her mama, Wilma Rae Burnette and her husband, Jack E. Burnette; sister, Pam Harris and her husband, Vincent, all of Louisburg; special canine companions, Peetey and Little Bee.

Flowers are accepted or memorials may be made to the Franklin County Animal Shelter, 113 Market Street, Louisburg, NC 27549.
