NELLIE G. GLOVER
FRANKLINTON— Nellie G. Glover, 83, died  Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at Louisburg Nursing Center in Louisburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Old Liberty Baptist Church in Franklin County. Burial will follow in the Franklinton Memorial Cemetery in Franklinton.

She was born in Franklin County to the late Eugene and Lucille Harris Dunston. She was a member of Mt. Zion UCC, where she served as a Sunday school teacher, treasurer and Mother of the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie “C.G.” Glover.

Surviving: children, Calvin Glover of Raleigh, Petronia Brown (Bobby) of Jacksonville, Fla., Sylvia Black of Henderson, Dallas Glover of Franklinton, Junette Chavis of Youngsville, John Glover (Djuana) of Lexington, and Lasonya Glover of Franklinton; brother, Norman Dunston (Mary) of Richmond, Va.; sister, Diane Phipher (Haywood) of Charlotte;  23 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
