PETER LAWRENCE KEARNEY
FRANKLINTON - Peter Lawrence Kearney, 33, of Franklinton, died Saturday, January 12, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Wake County and was a graduate of Franklinton High School. He loved to fish, listen to music and cook, but nothing came before his beloved Tar Heels. 

Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, January 16, 2013 at Franklinton Baptist Church with the Rev. David Averette officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery.

Peter is survived by his parents, Larry and Elaine Kearney of Franklinton; godmother, Miriam Honeycutt of Franklinton; brother, Joey Kearney and fiancé Caiti Bagwell of Franklinton; grandmother, Carrie Tilley of Wake Forest; aunts & uncle, Wendy Gorlesky of Garner, Judy Emory of Wake Forest and William Weldon “Bill” Tilley and wife Joanne of Wake Forest; several cousins and extended family.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service from 1-2:00 P.M. Wednesday afternoon, January 16, 2013 at Franklinton Baptist Church.
