JERRY BRYANT O'NEAL
June 22, 1954 - November 3, 2014

WINSTON-SALEM - Jerry Bryant O'Neal, 60, of Winston-Salem passed away Monday, November 3, 2014. Born in Vance County in 1954 to Hal and Katherine O'Neal, Jerry was known to all of his friends and family as an avid hunter and fisherman, spending many days and nights in the outdoors. His other passion in life was his family and friends, especially his two granddaughters. Jerry earned an Associates degree while raising his family and working full time at AMP / Tyco Electronics, where he worked for 35+ years.

Jerry leaves behind a wife of 35 years, Wanda O'Neal; two sons, Jeremy O'Neal and John O'Neal (Nikki); a daughter-in-law, Allison Domm; and two beloved granddaughters, Harris and Katie O'Neal. Jerry also leaves behind two brothers, Jimmy (Robin) and Hal (Mary Jo) O'Neal; a sister, Faye (Donnie) Campbell; and a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews that he loved dearly. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents.

His smile and generosity will continue to live on in the hearts and memories of his family, friends, and co-workers. Everyone agrees that Jerry never met a stranger. The deer and the fish will rest a bit easier but his family and friends will miss him dearly.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 6, 2014 from 4 - 6 PM at Hayworth Miller Funeral Home on Silas Creek Parkway in Winston-Salem. The funeral will immediately follow visitation at 6 PM. Burial will be for family only November 7, 2014 at 10 AM at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, North Carolina. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
