PHILLIP VINCENT DORSEY

CASTALIA - Phillip Vincent Dorsey, 66, of Castalia died Saturday, January 10, 2015. Born on May 13, 1948 to the late Thurston and Avis Wood Dorsey. Vincent was the owner and operator of Dorsey Mobile Homes and later Southern Comfort Homes in Louisburg.

Vincent is survived by his wife Kaye Preddy Dorsey; his daughter Lisa Fobes and her husband Rodney; his sons Tommy Hight and Johnny Hight and his wife Tammy; six grandchildren, Tyler Hight, Allison Fobes, Katie Fobes, Whitney Hight, T.J. Hight, and Tori Appleford and her husband Greg; a great-grandchild Brayden Appleford; his sister and brother-in-law, Janet and Harold Jones; and special friends Brenda and Jerry Bailey. Vincent was preceded in death by siblings Cyrethia Upchurch and Roy Dean Dorsey.

Graveside funeral services were held at 3:00pm on Sunday January 11, 2015 at the Wood Family Cemetery on Fred Parrish Rd. Castalia, NC. The family received friends immediately following the service. Online condolences may be made to www.lancasterfcs.com.
