CALLIE EDWARD THOMPSON

HOLLY RIDGE - Mr. Callie Edward Thompson, age 74, of Holly Ridge, NC died Monday, Aug. 10, 2015 at his residence.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 p.m. till 2 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church, Holly Ridge.

Funeral Service will follow the visitation, 2 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church with the Rev. Preston Wells officiating. Burial will be at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Jane Thompson of the home; two daughters, Gail Smith Pleasants and husband Ronnie of Louisburg, NC and Kathy Ann Roche and husband Carl of Louisburg, NC.; son, Edward Ray Thompson and wife Carla of Louisburg, NC.; sister, Annie Laurie Hamm of Youngsville, NC.; seven grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Callie T. Thompson and Alma Patterson Thompson; a daughter, Vicky Stallings; and sister, Lucille Shearin.
