MARY ANN GARRETT WATSON

GRAHAM - Mary Ann Garrett Watson, 67, died Friday, September 25, 2015. Born in Vance County on March 20, 1948 to Violet Longshaw Garrett of Franklinton and the late James William Garrett.

Mary Ann was a member of the Peace and Harmony Baptist Church, a 1966 graduate of Franklinton High School, and retired from the Alamance County Health Department with seventeen years of service.

She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving are Mary Ann's husband, Barry James Watson; her sons, Jerry Wayne Fuller and wife Christy; John Wayne Fuller and wife Abbie; her daughter, Christy Renee Poovey and husband Alan; grandchildren, Krystal Barquin and husband Chris, Brandi Fuller, Brandon Fuller, Garrett Poovey, Davis Poovey and Katelyn Fuller; great-grandchild, Adleigh Barquin; brothers, Dwight Garrett and wife Dorothy and Mark Garrett.

Funeral services were held at 3:00 PM, Monday, September 28, 2015 at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel with the Reverend Clyde Waiden officiating. Burial followed in the Fairview Cemetery. The family received friends, Monday, September 28, 2015 from 1:30 - 2:45 PM at Lancaster's Franklinton Chapel, 504 East Mason Street, Franklinton, NC.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday evening, September 30, 2015, at 6:00 PM at the Chapel of Twin Lakes Community, 3801 Wade Coble Drive, Burlington, NC.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Alamance County, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215 or Alamance County Regional Hospital Cancer Center, 2040 Huffman Mill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
