ROBERT W. SPENCER, JR.

LOUISBURG - Robert "Robbie" Wrenn Spencer, Jr., 56, of Louisburg died Sunday, October 25, 2015. Born on February 2, 1959 to Mary Ann Riggan Spencer and the late Robert W. Spencer, Sr. A member of the Louisburg Fire Department and Franklin County EMS, Robbie loved his family, enjoyed hunting, fishing, airplanes and HAM radios He was an avid Carolina Hurricanes and Washington Redskins fan.

The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg, and all other times at the home of Smitty and Miranda Ward. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Spencer; his brother, Andy Spencer; his sister, Teresa Ann "Rita" Spencer Spruill; his nieces, Miranda Ward (Smitty) and Jamie Anderson (Jon); his nephew, Drew Spencer, II; his great-nieces, Summer Grace Allen, Autumn Faith Allen and Josie Lynn Anderson; his great-nephew, Linkin Kade Spencer, and numerous aunts, uncles, great-aunts and great-uncles.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Arrangements are being handled by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd., Louisburg, N. C. 27549. Online condolences may be made to www.lancasterfcs.com.
