DIANNE CAROL SOUTHALL

LOUISBURG - Dianne Carol Southall, 53, of Louisburg passed away Monday, February 8, 2016, at her home. She was born on February 1, 1963 to Wilbur and Shirley May Southall. Dianne was tenderhearted, outgoing, creative and mechanically minded. She was passionate about animals and the outdoors. Her daddy was her best friend and her daughter, Leah, was her world. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Kyle Lewis.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. at Maple Springs Baptist Church, with the Rev. Melton Tyson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Leah Tharrington; her sisters, Sherry S. Lewis (Brent) of Louisburg, Kathy J. Southall (Fred Vangorder) of Swansboro, Jennifer S. Parrish (Lewis) of Louisburg; her nieces, Jessica Lewis, Megan Lewis and Chandler Parrish; her nephews, Jonathan Lewis and Chase Parrish; her pets, Blue, Shadow, Button and Bitzy; and a special family friend, Allison Gupton.

The family received friends Wednesday night from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Wilbur Southall for Leah's College Fund and mailed to 804 N. Bickett Boulevard, Louisburg, NC 27549.
