PANSY DENTON BUNN
November 1, 1930 - May 10, 2016

PILOT - Pansy Denton Bunn from the Pilot Community in Franklin County passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday. She will long be remembered for her character, love of people, and love of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Pansy has four children - Sonja Bunn Webb, Deborah Bunn Durham, Troy Miles Bunn, and Michelle Bunn Robinson. She has six grandchildren - Todd Batchelor, Tyler Durham, Brittany Robinson, Jada Robinson, Julie Robinson, and Katie Rice, as well as one great-grandson - Jackson Batchelor. She also is survived by her sister, Torchie Stallings.

This lifelong servant of the Lord was born in Franklin County and was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Bunn, and her parents, Robert Lee Denton and Roxie Denton Stallings.

She was a homemaker, phenomenal cook, Sunday school teacher, fabulous writer and poet, and a great example for her husband, children, and family. She shared her loving spirit with anyone and everyone and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ both in word and deed. We take great comfort in her faith and the promise of salvation.

A celebration of Pansy's life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Pilot Baptist Church.

A reception for family and friends will occur in the Family Life Center following the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Pilot Baptist Church Building Fund, 8103 NC 39 Hwy S., Zebulon, NC 27597 or Oasis of Love Tabernacle, 6525 Schooners Rd; Bailey, NC 27807.

Arrangements are by Strickland Funeral Home, & Crematory, Louisburg, www.stricklandfuneralhome.net.
