MARTHA MOORE

LOUISBURG - Martha Jane Weaver Moore, 67, wife of Dalton Leon Moore of Louisburg, died September 4, 2016. She was born in Caswell County on May 18, 1949 to the late Virgie Pruitt and Fred Weaver.

Martha is survived by her husband and love of 32 years, Dalton Leon Moore; her daughter, Kelley Hall and son-in-law, Darryl Hall Sr.; her son, John Jackson and daughter-in-law, Terri Jackson; grandchildren, Carrie, Darryl Jr., Brandon, and Bryan Hall; siblings, Peggy Hunter, Judy Powell, Fred Weaver, and Barbara Harris; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by a daughter, June "JD" Moore.

Martha retired from a career in retail grocery and ran her own catering business, Cakes By Design. She was a strong willed and determined woman who was a hard worker but also a very generous lady, willing to give anyone the shirt off of her back.

Services for Mrs. Moore will be private
