IRVIN MOSES INSCOE

LOUISBURG - Irvin Moses "Buddy" Inscoe, 79, of Louisburg went home to be with the Lord on December 4, 2016 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. He was born in Franklin County on April 14, 1937 to the late Bessie Collins and Isaac Moses Inscoe. In addition to his parents, Buddy was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Stainback Inscoe; and his sister, Bettye Beaman.

He was a loving father, Papa, and friend to many. Buddy loved spending time with his family and friends, playing cards, dancing, fishing, and reading.

Mr. Inscoe is survived by his son, Lee Inscoe (Mary Leigh); his daughter, Lisa English (Charles); six grandchildren, Landis Hall (Matthew), Heather Edmisten (Jon), Lucas English, Holly Hunter (Blake), Jennifer Baker (Todd), and Anna Inscoe; as well as five great-grandchildren, Mason, Lana, Landin, Lukas, and Oliver, and two expected, "Peanut,"and "Leroy."

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 7, 2016 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services, 804 N. Bickett Blvd. Louisburg, NC, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. with the Reverend Josh Parrott officiating. Entombment will follow at Lancaster Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at other times at the home of Lisa English.

Flowers will be accepted, or contributions may be made in Buddy's memory to the SECU Hospice House, 426 Hospital Rd, Smithfield, NC 27577. Arrangements are being handled by Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services. Online condolences may be made to www.lancasterfcs.com.
