FRANKLINTON-Marion Wilder, 81, died Thursday morning, June 8, 2017. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 14, at Franklinton First United Church of Christ, Franklinton, with the Rev. Douglas Wooten officiating. Interment followed in the Manasseh Chapel Baptist Church cemetery, Franklinton.
She was born on June 13, 1935 to the late Milton and Henrietta White Wilder. Marion, affectionately called "Peanut," was a Franklin County native.
She was preceded in death by six siblings, Donnell Wilder, Deborah Wilder Jones, Warren Wilder, Lawrence Wilder, Mazie Wilder and Joseph Wilder.
Surviving: two children, Michael Wilder of Raleigh and Natalie Brown of Raritan, N.J.; two siblings, Milton Wilder Jr. of East Orange, N.J., and Charles Wilder (Sandra) of Hillside, N.J.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and many cousins and friends.
