DARIES "BUB" BIGGERSTAFF, JR.

YOUNGSVILLE--Daries "Bub" Biggerstaff Jr., 84, died Wednesday July 12, 2017 at Transitions Life Care Hospice in Raleigh. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at Harris Chapel Baptist Church, with the Rev. Dr. Bill Haley officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.

He was born in Lincoln County, NC, the son of the late Gladys Boggs Biggerstaff and Daries Olof Biggerstaff Sr.

Surviving: wife, Elizabeth Best Biggerstaff; his children, Daries Neal Biggerstaff of Raleigh, Kathy Biggerstaff Little (Ken) of Creedmoor, David Worth Biggerstaff (Kristi) of Youngsville; a sister; Brownie Trainham; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
