LOUISBURG--Samuel D. Gourley, 60, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017 after a brief battle with cancer. Funeral services will be private.
He was born on Dec. 15, 1956 in Granville County to the late Norena Pittman and Carl Gourley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda K. Gourley and Rena Mae Gillespie
Surviving: brother, Rick Sneed; sister, Debbie Bittorf; as well as numerous nieces and nephews and great-nephews.
