LOUISBURG--Harvey Allen Carpenter, 63, died Monday, Oct. 23, 2017 at his home. Visitation will be held tonight, Thursday, Oct. 26, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Lancaster Funeral and Cremation Services.

He was born to the late Preston Arnold and Elnora Sparks Carpenter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Roxanne Champion Carpenter; stepdaughter, Crystal Champion; and his sister, Jean Champion.

Surviving: daughter, Jennifer Linette Talbert; stepchildren, Tonya Baines, Chad and Herbie Champion; brother, John Preston Carpenter; sisters, Arnola Gilliam and Mindy Vick; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
