KNIGHTDALE--James Robert "Frog" Barham, 84, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017. He was born November 30, 1933 in Franklin County to the late Berry Barham and Lena Raybon Barham.
Frog honorably served his country in the US Army and then became a truck driver, retiring from Roadway Transportation.
Funeral service was 1:00 pm, Saturday, December 23, 2017 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd., Knightdale, 27545. Burial, Upchurch-Alford Family Cemetery in Pilot.
The family received relatives and friends prior to the service from 11:00 am to 12:45 pm at the funeral home and other times at the home, 2324 Marks Creek Road, Knightdale, 27545.
Surviving: children: Dennis Barham (Renay) of Swansboro, Denise B. Brown (Mike) of Zebulon, Barry Barham of Youngsville; grandchildren: Justin Brown (Megan), Parker Barham (finance', Lindsey), Jordan Barham, Johnny Brown, Ashley Barham; great-granddaughters: Callie and Colbie Brown; sister, Christine B. "Teeny" Ayscue of Wendell; sisters-in-law: Jeannette Barham of Wendell, Sue Ray and Joyce Bunn, both of Pilot, Eleanor Barham of SC, Faye Barham of Durham, Shirley Barham of Zebulon.
In addition to his parents, Frog was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Bunn Barham; sisters: Kathleen B. Baker, Mary Alice B. Davis, Willie Mae B. Norton, Rachel Watkins; brothers: Robert Lee Barham, Lester Barham, William Barham, Berry "BB" Barham, Charles "Peanut" Barham.
