FRANKLINTON--Eileen Odom "Enie" Parker, 87, died Saturday, May 26, 2018. The family received friends at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, at Franklinton Baptist Church, where funeral services were held at 5 p.m., with the Rev. David Averette officiating. Burial followed in Fairview Cemetery.
Eileen was born to the late Hubert and Ollie Davidson Odom in Bertie County. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Green Parker, and a sister, Dorothy Minton. She was a member of Franklinton Baptist Church.
Surviving: sons, Gale (Myra) Parker of Wake Forest, and Larry (Sherry) Parker of Franklinton; daughter, Paula Parker Gerringer of Franklinton; sister, Jean James of Greenville; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
