BETTY SUE MURPHY

LOUISBURG--Betty Sue Parrish Murphy, 82, died Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at Louisburg Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 16, at 11 a.m. at Lancaster Memorial Park, 2210 NC Hwy. 561, Louisburg, with Dr. Reggie Rushing officiating.

She was born in Franklin County to the late Herman and Alma Parrish. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister and brother.

She graduated from Gold Sand High School and Louisburg College and was a member of Louisburg Baptist Church.

Surviving: husband, Glenn Murphy; daughters, Scarlet Durham, Ginger Vicars, Lisa Matthews: son, Will Murphy (Mary); 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Flowers are appreciated or memorial donations can be made to Louisburg Baptist Church, P.O. Box 730, Louisburg, NC 27549 or to Louisburg High School Baseball Program, 201 Allen Lane, Louisburg, NC 27549.
