Finding a moral compass

Dear editor:

Just read Steve Trubilla's column titled "Don't like Trump?" You still have no right to threaten! It is very well written. You make very valid points about respecting the President. Also about his being bullied.

When I got to the part about "A moral compass" guides us very much in the same way.

People do have a moral compass. His name is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. The minds of most people today are led by the flesh.

As a culture, we should not conform to this world. We also should not rebel against authority or go against God. We should treat each other with love that never fails.

The Apostle Paul states, forgetting what is behind and straining ahead. I press toward the mark, which God has called me to heaven in Christ Jesus.

He should be our moral compass.
